Can you believe we’re halfway through March already? I know it’s normal for time to feel as if it’s whooshing past your ears, but it always seems to surprise me. The good thing about it being March though is that now the year is starting to take shape. Summer show acceptance letters are rolling in and my schedule is filling out. I’m finalizing plans, both for new designs and some other things up my sleeve. But what I really want to share with you today is the March Pattern of the Month.
The March pattern is a fun, energetic design called Scattered Marks. Before even releasing the pouch, the pattern was getting lots of love. People connected with the playful design and textured stripes. So this month, for the Pattern of the Month Project, I have a slim pencil pouch printed with Scattered Marks in black ink on natural canvas.
I've made two versions of the pouch. One is made with soft cotton canvas, lined with a rainbow pattern and is machine washable. The second is made with structured waxed canvas, lined with a bold turquoise and is water repellent. Both versions were made in limited editions of 10.
Also, I am offering a limited number of subscriptions for the Pattern of the Month Project. It is a five month long subscription. If you purchase, you'll receive five pouches in the mail: two this month, and one a month through June. Subscribers also receive a special price on each pouch and free shipping on 4 of the 5 pouches. But I only have 8 subscriptions available. Don't hold off if you want a cute hand printed pouch in the mail once a month!
It's once again time for a new pattern release! May’s Pattern of the Month is called Sketched Circles. The hand drawn pattern is light and fresh.
