Handmade Markets for the Holiday Season

It's holiday show season! This year I'm changing my schedule up a little bit, giving myself a little breathing room with holiday shows. But there are still plenty of places to find me! Below is a list of the holiday shows I'll be at in the coming weeks:

Cleveland Bazaar Winterfest | November 25, 2017 | Downtown Cleveland, 5th Street Arcades | Liz Sabo Handmade

November 25

Cleveland Bazaar Winterfest

Saturday 10 am - 6 pm
Downtown Cleveland

For my first show of the holiday season, the Cleveland Bazaar brings the handmade to the downtown Cleveland Winterfest celebration. Experience the magic of Clevelanders enjoying their city: they’ll be food and music, ice skating, carriage rides, Christmas tree lighting, and of course finish the day by shopping for cool, maker-made gifts for your loved ones.  I’ll be among the artists and makers set up in the 5th Street Arcade building.

I Made It! Market Kids Day | November 26, 2017 | Pittsburgh, PA | Liz Sabo Handmade

November 26

I Made It! Market Kids Day

Sunday 10 am - 4 pm
Pittsburgh, PA

KIDS DAY at I Made It! Market for the Holidays is a new event, both for IMI and me. The show invites adults and kiddos alike to enjoy the special experience of shopping local for the holidays. There will be handmade wares for the whole family and a lineup of awesome kid's activities.  But whether you’re bringing kids or not, you can still shop from 50+ local vendors. We’ll be set up next to Michael's Craft Store in the Waterfront.

Cleveland Bazaar Holiday | 78th Street Studios | Liz Sabo Handmade | Fabric Goods Made in Cleveland, Ohio

December 9-10

Cleveland Bazaar Holiday

Saturday 10 am - 9 pm
Sunday 10 am - 6 pm
78th St. Studios, Cleveland

One of the main events of my November-December season every year is the Cleveland Bazaar Holiday at 78th Street Studios. This is also the flagship market for Cleveland Bazaar with close to 150 artists, makers and insanely creative folks to shop from. Quirky gifts for your brother, nerdy gifts for your sister, something fashionable for mom…you can truly find something for everyone on your list. And you’ll be making the year of local and regional businesses  while doing so!

Holiday Market at the Screw Factory | Lakewood, Ohio | December 15-16, 2017 | Liz Sabo Handmade

December 15-16

Holiday Market at the Screw Factory

Friday 6 pm - 10 pm
Saturday 10 am - 6 pm
Screw Factory, Lakewood

For many years the Last Minute Market at the Screw Factory was a much loved event. It took a cool industrial space and filled it with bright and funky art. It’s move downtown to the Galleria never captured the same tone. But now a new market is opening up at the Screw Factory to bring back that unique shopping experience. This will also be my last show of the year, so I hope to see you there!

Change can be daunting. Change is sometimes something we fight, or something we have no choice but to embrace. Or it can be something we search after, something we seek out of necessity. For me, 2018 was about seeking necessary change. Now, in 2019, I’ll need to embrace it.
