Towards the end of 2017 I finally taught my first sewing classes. And I absolutely loved it. It was so much fun to share something I love with people who were passionate and eager to learn. It look me a long time to amass all the bits of sewing knowledge I have. Lots of trips to the library, searches on google and late nights taking out stitches. Being able to sit down with someone and help them skip through the messy parts is incredibly rewarding. So, of course, I’m going to be teaching more in the coming year. And I’ve already scheduled my first workshop of 2018! Sunday, January 21 I’ll be teaching another Beginners Sewing Workshop at In the 216 Clifton. As I discovered in the previous classes, this beginners course makes a great refresher class too. Students who have never touched a sewing machine are welcome along with those who might just being wondering how much they actually remember. You can find more details on the Facebook event page (or the Eventbrite page.)
