Change can be daunting. Change is sometimes something we fight, or something we have no choice but to embrace. Or it can be something we search after, something we seek out of necessity. For me, 2018 was about seeking necessary change. Now, in 2019, I’ll need to embrace it.
There’s been some big changes in my life lately, and with all that they’ve brought I’ve decided it’s time for another one. I’m bringing Liz Sabo Handmade to a close. In October, I started a full time job and in a week I’ll be moving into a much smaller space - both of these big changes, along with many other small ones, mean there’s just not room for my business in my life anymore, not in a way that feels right.
Being a business owner and a part of the maker community has affected who I am and how I see the world in endless ways. I can’t imagine where I would be today without all the people I have met, my fellow makers and of course my amazing customers. Because of you I wouldn’t hesitate to do it all over again. It means so much to me that you've been on this journey with me. I thank you, truly and deeply.
I don’t plan on stopping making completely. I may even send out another email or two, if I project or class comes my way that I think you’d find interest in. But, if you’d like to keep up to date on what I’m up to, make sure you give my Instagram a follow, as that will be my first stop for sharing new things.
Now it’s time for the going out of business sale (though I like closing sale better.) I have spent the last week photographing of all of my inventory, and everything I have in stock is now online. And it’s all on sale. There are some items I have a larger selection of, but there are some that I only have a very few left, such as my larger shoulder bags. Take a look at what's below and make sure you head to the online shop to see all of what's available.
Zippered Cross Body Bags
Modern Messenger Bags
