Martha Stewart's American Made Awards

by Liz Sabo September 04, 2013

The moment is here! I’m so thrilled to be taking part in the 2013 American Made Audience Choice Awards.

In case you don’t know, American Made is a movement founded by Martha Stewart. It spotlights the maker, supports the local, and celebrates the handmade. It’s made up of people and communities who have turned their passion for quality craftsmanship and well-designed goods into a way of life. Isn't that inspiring? The winner will receive $10,000 to support and grow their business and a trip to New York City to attend the annual American Made Talks and Workshops.

The voting started this Monday and so far it’s been an energizing experience (despite a few glitches in the website Monday.) As of this moment, I have almost 1000 votes (Thanks so much everyone!), but I need help to keep that number growing! The winner is determined by the number of votes they get between now and September 13.  You can vote up to six times each day. So please, take a moment to visit my profile and vote. And then go back and vote tomorrow too!

Also, if you’d like to be updated on vote counts, get little reminders to vote and just keep in touch with the latest news, follow me on Facebook or Twitter.
